These have not been a fun past two weeks (hence the blog silence). Poor baby boy has been running such a high temp that we finally took him to the ER on Friday. Due to a medical condition, D is more susceptible to seizures than most kiddos, so we start to get pretty concerned anytime the thermometer surpasses 103. When it read 104 and Tylenol was having no effect, Chris made the call to take him in. Of course, we had D in the pediatrician's office on Friday morning, where he was diagnosed with a bad ear infection but his temp was 98. Figures that he couldn't spike to 104 while we were in the doctor's office. Oh, well. What's another copay? :) We've been battling the high temps, accompanied by nasty diapers, since Wednesday night. Chris got sick at the same time, and I have been feeling a bit under the weather as well (though not as bad as Chris). Makes for some fun times all around. Here are some pics of D this evening, all hopped up on antibiotics, Tylenol, and Motrin. The kid screams and runs when he sees the syringe. Yay!
P.S. We have no idea why he was sitting in the middle of the (collapsed) tunnel. Chris just found him there. We're blaming it on the meds.
