Referral!!! He is just perfect. And she is just perfect. And I think the snowpeople version of our family of six looks pretty darn perfect, too. We got the call Wednesday night at 7:29 PM, of course when we were least expecting it. And yet again, I had set my ringtone to a truly ear-screeching submarine alarm for our agency's call, and then became completely confused when it actually went off. When I heard our agency director ask if it was an okay time to talk, I assumed that perhaps there was a problem with our paperwork, but then she said the word "referral" and the tears started. Chris and I were so grateful to be together when we got to see their sweet faces for the first time. And then the kidlettes, probably hearing all the excitement downstairs, got out of bed and came into the kitchen. Here they are seeing the faces of their new brother and sister for the first time:
We can't wait to meet Baby Brother and Baby Sister, and Dinkeneh has already talked about how he is going to have fun with them, but not take them on a walk. Alrighty then.
Walks or no, we can't wait for the fun to begin.
