At this rate, I'll be finished with the series by the end of the week. Harry Potter is next (gasp! No, I haven't read them. Someone give Cindy oxygen :) ). Hunger Games I've already read. Any other suggestions?
I DO need oxygen! Where is my paper bag??? LOL. Have you considered Sookie Stackhouse? It is a little dirty ( I mean..maybe I am a prude but they make Me Blush a little...but really fun to read.
If you have time pick up the book Dairy Queen by Catherine Murdock, it's the first in a series of 3 books. Takes place in the great state of WI and rumor has it that it will be made into a movie.
Also, if you haven't read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants- it's never too late:)
I teach middle school, these are easy, enjoyable reads.
If you like Harry Potter, try Percy and the Olympians (based on Greek myths) and Peter and the Starcatchers (prequel to Peter Pan). They're similar in spirit -- all plot, engrossing but not particularly deep.
I will admit to being a little obsessed with pre-teen fiction at the moment.
I'm dying of jealousy that you are just about to start Harry.
Bridget Jones Diary 1 and 2 in case you haven't yet. Highlarious and on my top 10 with Harry Potter and a bunch of others that are far more serious but not nearly as much fun. :]
The question is how do you get to read so much? Are you may be super mom/woman?? I love the picture of the two with all the books ... you wonder where they get that from ... ;)
Yeah the Percy Jackson books are a good little series too! Lorno...Bwa ha ha ha ha ha. I would definitely classify True Blood that way! ha! I also really enjoyed Garth Nix's Keys to the Kingdom.
Have your read the Book Thief yet? One of the most beautiful books I have read in a long time.
I'd suggest the Uglies/Pretties/Specials series by Scott Westerfeld. Very entertaining, and if you have any issues with the editing, you can blame Emily. :)
I agree with Cindy about Sookie Stackhouse. I have every one of the books if you want to borrow (there are 11 + a short story in-between book). I also suggest Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evonovich. There are 17 + a few in-between ones. I have the first 14 + 2 of the in-betweens. :)

Holy Goodness! Those kiddos are so big and so dang cute! :) And I really, really liked The Help if you haven't already read it.

Yes, Harry Potter next. Sookie is a Lorno (a light porno) if you ask me but sometimes we all need them, amiright?

Great seeing you all on Sunday!
I also wanted to add....that a little lorno might be necessary after reading the twilight series...LOL
