What's Going On?

It's like ripping off a Band-aid, I suppose.

The bad news:  We're home, but still waiting to be a family of six.

The good news:  We found out on July 19th that we officially passed court.
The good news:  We were submitted to Embassy on July 28th.

The Embassy is requesting some additional information and documentation, which seems fairly par for the course these days.  Not unexpected, but still disappointing that it will take a bit longer to bring T and A home.  We are still really grateful to be where we are in the process, and our hearts go out to all those children and families caught up in some of the changes recently made in Ethiopia.

In the meantime, we're just trying to keep busy and enjoy our last summer as a family of four.

Thanks to everyone for the emails and phone calls.  We have an awesome village.  Truly awesome.  I'm working on getting back to everyone, so if you haven't heard from me personally yet, you will soon.
